Apply for Help

Submit a confidential request for charitable assistance from Oston Charity Foundation.

How the Assistance Process Works

Every request follows a structured process to ensure fairness, accountability, and responsible use of charitable funds.

1

Application

You submit a confidential application with your personal information, description of hardship, and supporting documents. Applications may be submitted by the individual in need, a family member, or an authorized representative.

2

Verification

Oston reviews the submitted information and may request additional documentation such as identification, bills, invoices, medical records, housing documents, financial information, photographs, or references. This step ensures the request is genuine and verifiable.

3

Board Review & Decision

The application is reviewed based on Oston's charitable mission, eligibility criteria, available resources, legal requirements, and the documented facts of the case. The Board or authorized representatives make the final approval decision.

4

Fundraising (If Applicable)

If approved and funds are not immediately available, Oston may create a public fundraising campaign on behalf of the applicant. Fundraising success depends on donor participation and is not guaranteed. Only approved portions of the applicant's story and photographs are published.

5

Assistance & Distribution

Once funds are available, Oston determines the appropriate form and amount of assistance. Whenever practical, payments are made directly to an approved landlord, store, medical provider, daycare, service provider, or other vendor rather than as unrestricted cash to an individual.

Before You Apply

Oston accepts requests for charitable assistance from members of the Tajik community across the United States. Each application is reviewed individually based on the circumstances of the case, available documentation, Oston's charitable mission, legal requirements, available resources, and internal approval.
