Our Assistance Process

1

Application

An individual or an authorized representative submits an application and supporting information.

2

Verification

Oston reviews the application and may request identification, proof of circumstances, bills, invoices, medical documentation, housing documents, financial information, photographs, references, or other evidence.

3

Review and Decision

The application is reviewed based on Oston's charitable mission, eligibility criteria, available resources, legal requirements, and the facts of the case.

4

Campaign or Assistance Plan

If a case is approved, Oston may create a fundraising campaign or arrange another appropriate form of charitable assistance.

5

Distribution and Oversight

Whenever practical, assistance may be paid directly to a landlord, store, medical provider, daycare, service provider, or another approved vendor instead of being paid as unrestricted cash to an individual.

Important Notice

Oston does not maintain guaranteed funds for every approved applicant.

Approval of an application does not guarantee that a fundraising campaign will reach its goal or that the full requested amount will be available.

Oston retains discretion and control over all charitable funds and determines the appropriate form and amount of assistance.
